A white bed of calm embraces the touch of the light butterfly, one who danced around hips and petals once, now rests from a hectic day between the softness of a home. Shape acute and perfectly cut, standing out between colors and textures, while the world around lives in chaos.
There are places in the world that are very famous and we instantly surmise the image, when we listen to its name. Here we see buildings and the Acropolis by eyes of our photographer. A mix of old and modern, permanent and transitory, light and dark.
This exquisite image shows a pigeon in the midst of flight with his wings spread upwards ready to beat against the wind current. In the background his fellow feather friends idle on a fence. The colour is bleached from the entire image except the birds red fee which instantly draws ones attention.
A bunch of shrivelled up grapes are hanging limply from their stem. The dark fruits with their dusty white coating have become dehydrated by the blazing sun and naturally been converted to raisins. The sorry sight is highlighted against a background of fair afternoon sky and green unfocused trees.
The distance of objects is very important in photography. It can elicit different visual impressions. This is an image of tall and thick tree trunks of palms with little foliage. These exotic trees grow only in warm countries and can have more than ten meters hight.
An ancient and seemingly sacred stone cut and brick laid edifice stands proudly against a background of tall majestic trees. The weathered arched structure has intricate designs on the wall front and its entrance is guarded by an astounding set of brown doors.
Cooling water droplets collect at the base of a purple flower on a single flower. The macro technique in photographing these crystal clear droplets makes them resemble sparkling diamonds against the velvet softness of the petal.
The picture shows an ancient handmade lock attached to a paint cracked door. The quaint invention is encrusted over with a thin coating of chipping paint that has gone grey from age. The rusting lock is missing one bolt but still retains the latch and all its other parts.
